High quality protein crystals are essential to high resolution X-ray and neutron protein crystallography. To understand the mechanism of protein crystallization contributes to obtain such crystals, and it is discussed how the orientation of protein molecules in a unit cell correlates to the quality of crystals and how space utilization contributes it.
