Since Bombina tadpole has transparent abdominal wall, visceral organs and their movement can be observed without any invasive treatment. It enables to diagnose physiological state of tadpole from movement of visceral organs that is under the autonomic control in order to increase fitness of the animal. Morphogenesis of digestive system and its internal and external control on its periodic movement at the early stage of embryo and hatched tadpole were documented in this study. At the switchback point region of intestine, contractive movement was observed as early as Gosner Stage 23. Rhythmic contraction started at St. 25 with a frequency of 5.0 per minute. The contraction wave propagated analward. Smooth muscle cells, with spindle like nuclei and alpha smooth muscle actin fiber, were observed at St. 23 in intestinal wall. Two layers of longitudinal and circular muscle gave clear histological image first at St. 24. Intestinal movement and its rhythmicity became to have higher in its magnitude and distinct after tadpole started feeding. Bombina eggs are spawned in laboratory through a year by well established hormonal treatment. This study confirmed that Bombina tadpoles are a good animal model by their transparent abdominal wall for space experiment focused on physiology that is evaluated from the autonomic regulation on
