Productive ability of a plant growth regulator, indole-3-acetic acid, in an endophitic fungus, Neotyphodium, in the seed of tall fescue (Festuca arundinacea) was investigated. Ratio of amount of IAA in the seeds infected with and without endophyte is not different remarkably. The effect of pseudo-microgravity has already been reported on the growth of endophyte, Neotyphodium, in tall fescue, Festuca arundinacea. The shoot growth infected with endophyte and hyphal growth of the endophyte in the plant seed were compared between the 3 D-clinostat experiment group and the ground control. The shoot growth of tall fescue infected with endophyte and growth of endophyte was affected under the pseudo-microgravity. Ratio of amount of IAA in the seedlings was also investigated. The amount of IAA in the seedlings infected with endophyte is higher than that in the uninfected seedlings under pseudo microgravity.
