"Air Launch Rocket" is a promising launch system for small satellites. It enables low-cost and responsive missions. Cost and responsiveness are the most important factors in recent space development. In different types of air launch rocket, "Internally carried" type has many advantages. However in this type of launching, it is hard to predict behave of the separated rocket. Then I took an approach using particle filter method to this problem. Particle filter is a new powerful technique developed in mathematical statistics which provides quick and accurate estimation of high dimensional state vector. This paper shows the result of numerical simulation of state estimation using particle filter for air launch rocket.
