An analytical study is presented to solve the diffusion equation in time reversed scheme for revealing the thermal history of the Earth. The analytical equation is subjected to a few kinds of boundary conditions such as temperature, heat flux and thermal radiation corresponding to the various circumstances. The examination on the initial conditions is also important for underlying the physical and chemical events in the past. In consequence, the numerical solutions for the time reversed procedure are generally unstable compared with the regular time scheme. Despite of the limitation of time interval in the reversed scheme the numerical calculations have been successfully demonstrated to be plausible for several initial and boundary conditions and also to elucidate the heat sources/sinks in temporal and spatial assignment within a reliable accuracy.
