The average reflectance at the Apollo 16 landing site was 8.6 percent in the visible, and 18.6 percent in the near infrared region at standard geometry (i = 30, e = 0, alpha = 30), which are lower (0.5-0.55 times) than those of the Apollo sample (62231). Our result is consistent with the results from the observation using Earth based telescope (0.53 in the visible region), suggesting that the reflectance of the Apollo sample derived in the laboratory
