The orbital motion of Asteroid Itokawa is quite chaotic at present, and we cannot calculate its orbital evolution accurately more than about 200 years. Therefore we studied the orbital evolution of Itokawa by a statistical method and found that the fate of Itokawa is most likely to collide with the sun or inner planets. The probability of collision with the earth is about once in one million years. As for the past of Itokawa, it is most likely that the origin of Itokawa is near the inner edge of the asteroid belt. This orbital evolution of Itokawa is typical for the near-Earth objects, so the investigation of Itokawa is important not only from the scientific point of view but also from the point of spaceguard.
