It is not well understood what kind of reactions occur on powder sample of organic compounds by flash heating generated with shock wave. Examined were shock wave reactions of powder sample of glycine. Shock wave reaction of single solid ice of aqueous solution of glycine was also examined. The results were completely different between the powder sample and the single solid sample.
