In the present study, examined is the nature of all deep farside moonquake nests (i.e. A33, A241, A282, and A285) in term of tidal stress correlation. Temporal variations of the tidal stress were calculated in all the foci of the above four nests. The dominant stress components in these foci are found to be sigma(sub theta theta) and sigma (sub phi phi). Events from these deep moonquake nests have about 27 days periodicity and events at A33, A241, and A285 have remarkably similar tidal correlation to each other: the events occur at the minimum phase of sigma(sub phi phi) and at the maximum phase of sigma(sub theta theta). The A282 nest shows a different tidal-correlation-pattern from those observed at other nests: events at A282 seem to occur at the maximum phase of sigma(r phi). It is not clear why the tidal-stress-correlation-pattern of A282 is different from other nests, though it may be related to the fact that the focal depth of A282 is estimated to be deeper than 1,100
