In the Japanese Moon exploring project 'SELENE', soft landing on the Moon is an important and difficult task necessary to be developed. In 1999, National Aerospace Laboratory (NAL) and National Space Development Agency (NASDA) started cooperative study on the flight test of a Flying Test Bed (FTB) to contribute to the development of moon soft landing technology. In this paper, we present summaries of three flight experiments of FTB conducted during the period, and technical studies related to the flight experiments.
