On study of Space Solar Power System (SSPS) in JAXA (NASDA), two types of SSPS are now being studied. The one is the microwave based power transmission system (M-SPS), and the other is the laser based power transmission system (L-SPS). On this paper, the MPT status and feature of the M-SPS are described.
