The concept of Space Solar Power System (SSPS) is of supplying solar energy to the earth by concentrating energy into a huge sunlight concentrator placed on stationary orbit and sending it in forms of electric power or laser. Sunlight concentration technique is used to control the amount of energy coming into an energy conversion device. It is one of the most important techniques in the SSPS concept. Sunlight concentration technique complexly relates to other techniques such as energy conversion and transmission techniques and is not appropriate to and should not be studied individually. It is being planned to come to a result and put SSPS on a commercial basis in the year of 2030 or around. To do so, it was determined what were to be innovative technologies required for the sunlight concentration technique. Also made were investigations and researches to solve problems and achieve the goal through committee activities. Last year, studied were wave length selection technique and properties capable of enduring space environments from a point of incoming energy control. From that study, it is known that controlling wave length through dielectric multi layers is effective to control incoming energy.
