MicroLabSat, the first one of the series, is a 50 kg class of spin stabilized satellite launched in December 2002 as a piggy back satellite on H-2A rocket. It has successfully completed all the planned experiments and continues healthy operation. Following MicroLabSat, MicroLabSat 2 is being developed with the three axis stabilized attitude control system. The results of two satellites will be brought into the following space demonstration satellites of the series.
