Electrons of energies between 0.1 and 10 keV were observed in the altitude range of 130-360 km at geomagnetic latitude 20°N. The electrons were detected with conventional cylindrical electrostatic analyzer on board the sounding rocket K-9M-45 launched at 11:00 Japanese Standard Time on January 16, 1974, when solar activity was quiet and geomagnetic activity was a little disturbed. The measured flux was about 1200 electrons/cm^2 sec ster and no significant altitude dependence was observed.
