This report outlines the method of performance calculation programming and experimental procedure for measuring physico-chemical properties of the solid propellants, which are being conducted in Propellant Research Division at ISAS. In them, there are some new techniques that have been successfully applied to the composite propellants; rapidly convergent approximation process appropriate to an elctronic computer programming for the determination of both composition and temperature of combustion products, apparatus for linear burning rate measurement of solid propellants, simple method of measuring specific impulse and transparent burner for combustion-instability evaluation by means of initiating a pressure disturbance.
