Effect cross sections have been compiled for collision processes between atomic oxygen and electrons with energy below 100 eV. The cross section of optically allowed excitations has been studied very little in the past in spite of importance of three processes. In this paper, the effective cross section has been estimated for some of these excitations with help of known values of the optical oscillator strength.
