A microgravity experiment system using stratospheric balloon in developed. A free-fall body is designed of a shape of a cylinder with a nose cone and tails. The cylinder contains a parachute, acceleromators, attitude sensors, a telemetry transmitter, an electric timer, an experimental room, and a floating mechanism for recovery. In the flight test in 1981,a body with a length of 1.8m, a diameter of 0.31m and a weight of 90kg was released from a balloon at the altitude of 29km. The observed accerelations were almost as expected and a gravity less than 2×10^<-3>G for a period of 10 seconds or more was realized.
