That occurs because of the existence of the streamline curvature both parallel and perpendicular to the wall surface. A pair of new parameter C(sub 1), C(sub 2) is introduced for the prediction of the primary instability onset and fairly good prediction standard is obtained. For the onset of the secondary instability, local velocity profile is measured accurately and created new prediction parameter K(sub 2). Considering very complicated transition structure, unique distributed suction method is introduced in order to delay the transition. This suction method has advantage to conventional uniform suction method in less suction power needed to control the flow field.
