This paper describes several issues about a scientific visualization system utilized in analyzing a flow field obtained by a large scale computing. Firstly, a characteristic of data by the large scale computing is considered. Secondly, the efficiency of the volume-visualization techniques is focused on, and the accuracy of a proposed method is discussed. As a preliminary case, some model fields are visualized by using a Z-slice algorithm on a personal computer system.
