Aerodynamic characteristics are computed from wake survey data of a rectangular wing model of aspect ratio five with an untwisted NACA0012 airfoil section. The theories of Maskell and Bets are used. Their basic approach is to rewrite the drag and lift integrals in terms of flow variables measured inside the wake region. And it furnishes separate values for the components of drag such as profile drag and induced drag, but also measures lift without the use of a balance. In addition to global data, details of the wake flow field as well as spanwise distributions of lift and drag are obtained. Wake survey data analysis is performed and the results are compared to the balance data.
