The authors have studied characteristics of Transmittance Ratio (TR) of the LSSPS (Laser type Space Solar Power Systems) laser in atmosphere and developed a database of TR distributions in Japan, based on satellite observations and mesoscale meteorological model simulations. This paper firstly shows the TR estimation method used in the database and then the accuracy of the database is secondly examined with observed-based TR from skyradiometer and direct solar irradiance measurements. Finally the expected value of TR taking into account the multi-site effects is investigated using the database. As a result an nnual mean TR with the multi-site effects at 30-site is found to increase to 90 %, while the TR at single site has 40 %.
