A passive damping system is one of several applicable methods. The engineering model for passive damping system has been made using damping joints and isolators which had been developed through ground experiments simulating microgravity environment. The first airplane experiment was conducted in September, 1990, and the function of passive damping system was evaluated under the actual microgravity environment. It was confirmed that the damping rack, using damping joint, reduced the resonance magnification which had the effect of amplifying microvibration to 1/2-1/4, and that the isolator isolated vibration from low frequency of 0.1 Hz. Based on the first experimental result, the shape and rigidity of isolator were redesigned to fit the microgravity of airplane. In the period from December 1991 to January 1992, the second airplane experiment was conducted. 内容記述 | NASDAは宇宙実験プログラムにおいて微小g-ジッタを低減するための制振システムの開発を進めている。受動制振システムは適用可能な幾つかの方法の1つである。微小重力環境を模擬した地上実験を経て開発した制振継手およびアイソレータを用いて受動制振システムの実験装置を試作した。1990年9月に第1回の航空機実験を実施し、実際の微小重力環境下での受動制振システムの機能を評価した。制振継手を用いた制振ラックが微小振動を増幅する効果を持つ共振倍率を1/2〜1/4に低減させたこと、およびアイソレータが0.1Hzの低周波数からの振動を遮断したことを確認した。第1回の実験結果に基づき、航空機の微小重力に適合するようにアイソレータの形状および剛性を再設計した。1991年12月から1992年1月にかけて、第2回の航空機実験を実施した。本論文では第2回の実験結果を述べた。 | |||||
