This report presents research results on new energy storage system, called \u0027molten glass system\u0027, designed for alleviation of lunar surface severe environment and on \u0027energy transmission system by microwave\u0027 for energy transmission to earth from generation plant located on lunar surface. Regolith on lunar surface has very low thermal conductivity and space under regolith is thermally insulated and works like thermos. In the new system, energy is collected during 14 days daylight period by solar thermal collector and is stored in heat storing material form made from lunar regolith in molten, that is, in \u0027molten glass system\u0027. This report describes concepts of this innovative molten glass system on lunar surface and presents the results of feasibility study of the following two systems: (1) 100 kW class power generation system which is sufficient to support the near future missions on lunar surface; and (2) 5 GW class power generation system which is planned to transmit energy to earth. In addition, detailed definitions of subsystem components and trade off studies of idea proposals are accomplished.
