The ultimate objective of this study is to establish an aerodynamic characteristics database for various airfoils using computational fluid dynamics (CFD). This report represents the first stage of the study. Two-dimensional CFD was employed to estimate data for a symmetric airfoil for which data is already available in order to examine how accurate this method will be.
