Incompressible flows around a two-dimensional circular cylinder were calculated by a finite difference method. Computations were performed in a wide range of Raynolds numbers. Using fine mesh, the variation of flow patterns corresponding to Reynolds numbers was observed. The Karman vortex street was captured well by the C-grid system, which has a large number of grid points in the wake region.
