In the present approach, a highly accurate TVD, finite volume formulation with the composite zonal grid system is implemented in order to produce a Navier-Stokes solver with robustness and high accuracy. The emphasis in this paper is on the treatment of the zonal boundary. In the present zonal approach, the zonal boundary is constructed of interfaces of computational cells, and the communication from one zone to the other is accomplished by numerical fluxes across the zonal boundary.
