Technical Report of National Aerospace Laboratory TR-1165
In February 1990, an H-1 rocket was launched which successfully put DEBUT(Deployable Boom and Umbrella Test Satellite), MOS-1b(Marine Observation Satellite) and JAS-1b(Japan Amateur Radio Satellite) into each orbits. DEBUT is the small satellite(50kg) having deployable/retractable boom and umbrella systems which are important subsystems to be used on the Tether/Boomeran Satellite. All the mission and telemetry/command(tele-command) systems functioned well, and all the planned, in-orbit performance tests were successfully completed. These tests and DEBUT's telecommand systems are described.
