This talk introduces some projects for space tether technology including a sounding rocket experiment deploying electro-dynamic tether with 300 m length, YES II (Young Engineer Satellite II) with 31.7 km tether, and a small satellite equipped with 30 km tether. These space tether experiments will provide new methods to study space environment. Future of space tether technology is also introduced as "free-lunch" Jovian tour, electro-dynamic re-boost, electro-dynamic tether de-orbit of satellite.
