The 20th Workshop on JAXA Astrodynamics and Flight Mechanics 2010 (July 26-27, 2010. Institute of Space and Astronautical Science, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA)(ISAS)), Sagamihara, Kanagawa Japan
Development of microsatellites by universities and organizations advances so increasingly that the higher attitude control such as pointing accuracy and stability is getting required for even their microsatellites being engaged in complicated space missions. Reaction wheel is widely used as an actuator in the space missions, however, it causes serious disturbance against the attitude control. It indicates that reaction wheel should also suppress generation of the disturbance for achieving precise attitude control. The purpose of this study is to analyze reaction wheel disturbance and to propose a new control rule for reaction wheel in consideration of the disturbance suppression on attitude control of microsatellite.
