The orbit design of two spacecraft for Mars exploration mission is discussed. We assume two orbiters, whose orbits are required to be orthogonal. After Mars orbit insertion, it will be needed to adjust their orbital planes and eccentricity vectors appropriately for required configuration under J(sub 2) perturbation. We discuss how to insert S/C into these orbits and how to maintain them.
