In this paper, optimum trajectories of minimum fuel consumption in Earth Transfer Orbit (ETO) for a lunar transportation system are proposed according to the flight time restricted. The lunar transportation system is the Reusable Orbital Transfer Vehicle (ROTV), which transports a spacecraft from Low Earth Orbit (LEO) to Lunar Low Orbit (LLO) and returns to LEO. It is one of the most important problems for this system to minimize fuel consumption in ETO. The reusable transportation system is superior to the expendable one by minimizing fuel consumption in ETO and utilizing the system a few times. In ETO, we discuss multi-impulse flight using electrical propulsion and aero-assisted flight using aero-braking, and the optimum trajectory control law for the ROTV is shown. The analytical suboptimum control strategy is also shown and the effect of the strategy is investigated.
