Space dusts, such as natural meteoroids or man made orbiting debris, are recognized as a serious and growing threat to man's utilization and exploration of space. Hypervelocity impact caused by the space debris will produce a serious damage to the spacecraft physically and electrically. The experiments were carried out for the research on the debris impacts using the pulsed laser system that simulates the hypervelocity impact of the space dust against the surface of the spacecraft. The 10 mJ Nd:YAG laser with a pulse width of 10 ns was used in this experiment. Al, Fe and Ag plates were used for the targets. Generated plasma by irradiation of the pulsed laser was measured using the double probe array system. Electron temperature and Electron density were calculated from the I-V probe characteristics obtained by repetitive laser shots for various bias voltages. Also, the velocity of the plasma cloud for each target was calculated from the time differences measured by the probe array.
