We use a one-dimensional energy balance climate model (1D-EBM) with a simple model of carbonate-silicate geochemical cycle in order to understand characteristic behaviors of the climate system of water-rich terrestrial planets. The major results obtained in this study are as follows; 1) \"Permanent ice-cap mode\" (the planet is partially covered with ice throughout the year) and \"Seasonal ice-cap mode\" (the planet is covered partially with ice seasonally) exist stably at low obliquities, but they cannot exist at high obliquities. This is because latitudinal gradient of annual mean insolation becomes smaller with an increase of obliquity. 2) \"Ice-free mode\" (there is no ice-cover throughout the year) can exist at the outer orbit and at high obliquities than that at low obliquities.
