A quasisteady solution for t\u003e\u003el was obtained and the results showed that the evaporation rate and the uniform flow behind the evaporation wave or adjacent to the Knudsen layer were little dependent upon Pr but the behavior of the dissipative wave (contact surface) was rightly dependent upon Pr.
