The intake pipe, crankcase, scavenging passage, combustion chamber and the exhaust pipe are all included in the system. This analysis aims at the simulation of scavenging processes and could be combined with that of combustion processes to yield the whole engine simulation. The simulation of an engine at motor driven can be obtained by this analysis only. The computer calculations were performed to give timewise variations of the pressure, velocity and temperature of the system for various parameters such as engine speed, intake and exhaust pipe length and the initial pressure of the combustion chamber. The variations of the delivery ratio, the trapping efficiency and the scavenging efficiency depending on these parameters were also examined.
