The pitting attacked preferentially was found in the sheet containing iron or lead, too. Though corrosion in zinc sheet is violent when it contains iron, it is possible to retard the attack by corrosion solution when cadmium or lead is present within it. The sheet of Fe-Pb-Zn alloy has the pitting also, but the sheet of Fe-Cd-Zn alloy has not.
