To reduce the interference drag, some shapes of small wings, Liplets, were designed. Liplet is a wing installed on both sides of the pylon just downstream of the upper part of the nacelle fan cowl trailing edge, to control the flow in the interference region. Three dimensional Euler calculation was carried out at transonic cruise condition. A flow analysis code using overlapped grid method was developed and successfully applied to calculate the flow field around the wing-nacelle and liplet configuration.
