The proposed mechanisms of discomfort caused by various kinds of transport such as train, automobile, ship, aircraft and space ship were considered in the light of the physical features of two separate motion categories, the vibration and swing motion. Biophysical and psychophysical relations between the discomfort and the dynamic characteristics of vehicles were found to exist after considering the above mentioned motions. 内容記述 | As the riding qualities of an aircraft are associated with a great number of factors (e.g.physical and psychological factors such as mechanical vibrations and environmental conditions), it is very difficult to find out the general solution for problems, such as what the mechanism of motion sickness is, how it can be alleviated and what the remedy for the symptoms is.
