The results were compared with those previously obtained in an experiment using a single nozzle, and the influence of number of nozzles, N, on the relation between length and performance of the secondary combustor was investigated. Despite the distortion of the individual exhaust jets from the multi-nozzle, combustor length for sufficient performance was found to be proportional to the diameter of rocket nozzle exit or 1/the
