A rendezvous navigation sensor, which measures and estimates relative range and LOS (Line Of Sight) angle, is a critical component for on-orbit servicing missions and inter-satellite ranging for formation flying. The medium-range rendezvous laser sensor for a rendezvous mission in LEO has been investigated in JAXA. The results of the sensor BBM performance test are reported on this paper.
