          <datacite:description descriptionType="Abstract">実験結果は、圧縮性混合層の成長率が乱流に及ぼす圧縮性効果のため臨界的に低下することを示した。本研究では、せん断層内の乱流に及ぼす圧縮性の影響を明らかにするために直接数値シミュレーションを行った。シミュレーション結果は乱流の運動エネルギーの拡大が乱流マッハ数の増大とともに抑制されることを示した。さらに、圧縮性せん断流内の乱流の異方性が乱流マッハ数の増加に伴い拡大することを示した。</datacite:description>
          <datacite:description descriptionType="Other">Experimental results show that the growth rate of compressible mixing layer is critically reduced due to compressibility effect on turbulence. In this study, direct numerical simulation was performed to clarify the effect of compressibility on turbulence in shear layers. The results of the simulation show that the growth of kinetic energy of turbulence is suppressed with increasing turbulent Mach number. Moreover, the anisotropy of turbulence in compressible shear flows is shown to be increase with increasing turbulent Mach number.</datacite:description>
