          <datacite:description descriptionType="Abstract">均等化方法を使い構造の最適化は配置(トポロジー)の最適化設計理論として確立されている。この理論は静的問題や固有値問題のような多様な種類の問題に適用されている。さらに弾性体構造のトポロジーに対する最適化のための均等化設計法をコンプライアント機構の設計に拡張した。コンプライアント機構は、弾性変形を作動源とすることを意図した比較的新しい種類の継手なし機構である。この論文では構造の最適化法を提案し、このコンプライアント機構に適用した。</datacite:description>
          <datacite:description descriptionType="Other">Structural optimization using the homogenization method is established as a theory of optimal design of layout (topology). This theory has been applied to the various kinds of problem such as static problem and eigenvalue problem. Furthermore the homogenization design method for topology optimization of elastic structure is extended to the design of compliant mechanisms. Compliant mechanism is a relatively new breed of jointless mechanism in which elastic deformation is intended to be a source of motion. In this paper, structural optimization method is proposed, and applied to the compliant mechanisms.</datacite:description>
