          <datacite:description descriptionType="Abstract">今日、航空機や宇宙機の全機形状まわりのナビエ・ストークス計算が手の届くものとなり、計算空気力学(CFD)の進歩には目を見張るものがあるが、一方では、その信頼性の確立という点では、まだ解決すべき多くのことが残されているように思われる。ある特定の課題を設定し、いくつかの異なるCFDプログラムを走らせた結果を持ち寄って、風洞試験データとの比較などを通してそれらを評価するのも、信頼性確立に向けた努力の一環と考えられる。今回、2次元翼の空力特性計算および全機形状まわりのナビエ・ストークス計算という課題を設定して、ワークショップを行った。論文集の構成は、2次元部門の課題「Garabedian-Korn　75-06-12翼型の空気力学的特性解析」と3次元部門の課題「ONERA　M5全機形態まわりの流れの解析」の課題募集要項のオーガナイザによる説明、応募論文(2次元部門7件、3次元部門5件)、オーガナイザによる両部門のまとめ、および、資料編として、応募者氏名解法情報一覧、応募ケース一覧、結果一覧表、応募者提出図などよりなっている。</datacite:description>
          <datacite:description descriptionType="Other">This report records results of CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) workshop which are held for the performance evaluation of CFD programs applied for two analytical problems. The first problem is two dimensional aerodynamic analysis of Garabedian and Korn 75-06-12 airfoil. Specific design conditions for an air foil are given and nine papers by applicants for the results of two dimensional aerodynamic analysis are presented. The second problem is three dimensional flow analysis around ONERA (Office National d'Etudes et de Recherches Aerospatiales) model M5 configuration. Specific flow and configuration conditions are given and five papers by applicants for the results of three dimensional aerodynamic analysis are presented.</datacite:description>
