          <datacite:description descriptionType="Abstract">本研究では、従来から構築してきたコードを基とし、損耗をもたらす粒子として、電荷交換衝突によって生成したイオンと中性粒子、弾性衝突により散乱されたイオンと中性粒子を考慮し、これら粒子によりスパッタされたグリッド材の再付着を含めることで、より忠実な物理モデルを構築するとともに、グリッド形状の変化を反映させて計算を行うことで、より精度が高く、イオンエンジンの開発に使用可能な耐久性能認定用シミュレーションコードを開発することを目標とする。</datacite:description>
          <datacite:description descriptionType="Other">Improvements have been made to the 3-D ion beam simulation code to enhance the accuracy of the lifetime estimation of ion engine grid optics. The sputter erosion and coating due to the impacts of high-energy ions and neutrals produced by the elastic scattering and charge-exchange reactions were taken into account, and the change in grid surfaces was dynamically simulated. Comparative evaluation of this code with experiments was performed, yielding results that are in good agreement with the experiment data.</datacite:description>
