          <datacite:description descriptionType="Other">If a compound chondrule was formed by collisional sticking of a plastic particle with a solid or another plastic particle, the following conclusions are derived: (1) Chondrules were formed after the settling of dust particles had progressed and the number density of dust particles had increased for several orders of magnitude. (2) Collisional velocities of pre-chondrule particles to form observed ratio of the compound chondrules should have been larger than 3 m/sec, as far as chondrules were formed in the asteroid region; otherwise, the dust layer should have fragmented to form planetesimals. (3) If chondrules had been formed in inner regions of the solar nebula, the lower limit of the relative velocity of the pre-chondrule particles would be reduced (e.g. 40 cm/sec for the terrestrial region).</datacite:description>
