          <dc:description>We investigate analytically the runaway growth of a protoplanet taking into account the disruption of planetesimals, which is made by the high velocity collision between planetesimals. As for the mass distribution of collisional fragments, we adopt a simple model proposed by Dohnanyi (1969). Calculations show that the growth of a protoplanet is accelerated by a factor of 2.5 by the help of the disruption of planetesimals compared with the case of no disruption.</dc:description>
