Telescope)は全吸収型カロリメータ(TASC: Total Absorption Calorimeter)を用いることにより、1次宇宙線中の電子・ガンマ線のみならず陽子・原子核成分の観測も行えるように設計されている。TASCは陽子に対して1.6平均自由行程の厚さを有しており、陽子・原子核成分のエネルギーを1,000TeVまで測定可能である。スペースステーションでの3年間の観測により次の成果が期待される。(1)1TeVから1,000TeV領域で、陽子から鉄にいたる1次宇宙線化学組成を明らかにする。各成分の絶対強度とスペクトル指数の変化の様子を高い統計精度で得ることができ、これらの結果は宇宙線加速モデルの検証に繋がる。1TeV/n以上の陽子イベント70万例、鉄イベントが300例以上観測されると期待される。(2)宇宙線1次核と2次核の比(B/Cとsub-Fe/Fe)を10GeV/nから数TeV/nのエネルギー領域で求め、宇宙線伝播モデルにとって重要な基礎データを提供する。このエネルギー領域では残留大気補正を必要としないスペースステーションにおける観測が有利であり、信頼度の高い結果を得ることができる。これらの観測結果は宇宙線の起源、加速機構、伝播モデルを確立するための重要な手掛かりを提供する。","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_5_description_32":{"attribute_name":"資料番号","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"資料番号:
