Irregularity; FAI)は、スポラディックE層(Es層)の強い電子密度勾配に電界が加わった時に生じるグラディエント・ドリフト不安定に起因するとされている。イレギュラリティ中には夜間に準周期(Quasi-Periodic; QP)構造が卓越するが、その成因は必ずしも明らかではない。本ロケット観測実験は、SEEK-2(Sporadic-E Experiment over Kyushu-2)と名付けられた、中緯度E領域FAIの生成機構に関する統合観測の中枢部分として計画された。1996年に実施されたS-310-25,26号機と地上観測による初回のSEEK観測結果などから、現在ではEs層中の電子密度の不規則構造に中性風速や外部電界が作用して分極電界が生じ、その反映として準周期構造が現れるとのモデルが提唱されている。今回のSEEK-2ではロケットによる電離圏プラズマの諸パラメータの測定、中性大気風速の測定、地上観測装置によるイレギュラリティの観測などを統合した、更に進んだ観測を実施した。SEEK-2は日本・米国・台湾の多くの研究者の協力のもとに実施された。","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_5_description_32":{"attribute_name":"資料番号","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"資料番号:
