 note = {A laboratory simulation of the heliosphere has been made to investigate the magnetic field configuration near the sun using an MPD device. The high-speed plasma flow interacts with a transverse magnetic field. The result shows that there exists deformation of the magnetic field due to the current sheet creation in the meridional plane, while there is no neutral sheet as is predicted by Newmann and Kopp [1971]. The result is compared with the numerical simulation of the heliosphere and these are consistent with each other. It is found that the illumination of the streamer corresponds to the current sheet region of the heliosphere., 資料番号: AA0045919010},
