In accordance with the objectives of this WG, normal gravity and ground-based microgravity experiments have been performed as well as numerical simulation. Also, discussion on next-generation simulation technique for spray combustion has been discussed. It should be emphasized that a proposal on microgravity experiment for validation of the new atomization concept, which was prepared by Prof. Umemura, was newly selected as a candidate for KIBO experiment.
